CCCC: Music Appreciation Offerings
The options for completion below include the minimum number of credit hours a student can expect to receive coupled with the most stringent requirement for universal acceptance. Some institutions may award more credit hours or accept lower AP or IB scores. Students should consult their institution of choice for specific requirements.

Students will receive at least three (3) degree credits for Music Appreciation from the participating institutions by completing the following option below:
  1. Dual Enrollment Music Appreciation I and/or II (VCCS course numbers 121 and 122) with a grade of C or higher
Note: Students attending University of Virginia, College of William & Mary, and Virginia Tech should consult their institution to determine if credit will be awarded for dual enrollment courses in music appreciation.
